Our Attorneys and Office Manager/Paralegal have collaborated for over ten years, building a seamless, client-focused practice grounded in teamwork and respect.
Attorney
Dyan J. Ebert
Dyan is one of the founders of Resolute Law, LLC, where she provides strategic legal counsel and representation to employers, public entities, and organizational clients in employment defense litigation and government liability matters. With more than three decades of civil litigation experience, Dyan is known for her decisive advocacy, thoughtful problem-solving, and dedication to achieving effective outcomes for her clients.

Dyan also serves as an experienced mediator, helping parties resolve disputes efficiently and constructively outside of the courtroom.
​
Throughout her legal career, Dyan has earned a reputation for leadership and excellence in the defense bar. She has held prominent roles in major professional legal associations, including serving as President of the Minnesota State Bar Association, President of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, and as President of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was recently inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. She has been recognized as a Minnesota Super Lawyer and has been named among the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Minnesota.

When she is not working or leading national legal organizations, Dyan enjoys reading and traveling.

Cally Kjellberg-Nelson
Cally is one of the founders of Resolute Law, LLC, where she represents employers and public entities in complex employment and government liability defense litigation. Cally's practice is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenging employment disputes with clarity and confidence.
She also conducts thorough, objective employment investigations on sensitive workplace issues. Cally also provides training to employers on various employment issues. ​

Throughout her career, Cally has been repeatedly recognized for legal excellence and professional achievement. She has been named a Minnesota Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters since 2020 and earned the Rising Star distinction in earlier years. She is currently the Vice President of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association.

Before launching Resolute Law, LLC, Cally built a distinguished litigation practice serving employers and government clients, developing a reputation for clear legal strategy, rigorous preparation, and responsive client service.

In her spare time, when she is not running around to one of her four children's sporting events, she can be found lifting weights or baking.
Office Manager/Paralegal
Rachel Ramthun
As the organizational cornerstone of the firm, Rachel ensures that every case moves forward efficiently and every client feels supported. Rachel plays a vital role in case preparation, client communication, and daily operations. Rachel is often the first point of contact for clients and is known for her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Rachel serves as the Paynesville School Board Chair and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors.
